Oh, the thinks you can think!

Etcetera Productions presents Seussical at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre, November 5–8, 2026.

Step into a world where imagination has no limits. Featuring more than 80 local performers of all ages, Seussical is Etcetera Productions’ largest musical to date: a big, bold adventure filled with unforgettable songs, exhilarating dance, hilarious characters and the wonder of Dr. Seuss.

The mischievous Cat in the Hat leads us from the Jungle of Nool to the tiny, invisible world of the Whos. There, Horton the Elephant makes an extraordinary discovery: an entire community living on a speck of dust. When no one else believes him, Horton promises to protect the Whos, no matter what it takes.

Along the way, a young Who named Jojo discovers the power of thinking differently, Gertrude McFuzz searches for the courage to be herself, and a colourful cast of characters turns Horton’s world upside down. Through all the laughter and spectacle, Seussical tells a story about friendship, belonging and standing up for someone whose voice might otherwise go unheard.

Bursting with heart, humour and imagination, Seussical is a theatrical event for the whole family. Come see what’s possible when we dare to think a little bigger.
