Pop Performance Class is an intensive workshop for performers, focusing in performance techniques of commercial music.
This year, we are offering Pop Performance Class for students in grades 8 and above. Performers can expect to study music in all pop genres; country, pop, r&b, rock, Motown, and much, much more. Students will work on solo songs, group sets, songwriting, vocal technique, and performance technique. In the second semester, performers work on a set to take the stage in late June as part of the Etcetera concert series.

Pop Performance Class is taught by Justin Goulding (Artistic Director of Etcetera Productions), and Megan Barnes (Lead Vocal Coach of Etcetera Productions).

Pop Performance Class is held on Thursday evenings, from September to June, from 7:00pm-8:15pm
Classes take place at our studio on 99 Queens Road, in the heart of downtown St. John’s, housed since 2011 in Gower Street United Church.
Students are asked to bring along a binder, pencil, and bottle of water, and are encouraged to wear movement-friendly clothing.

The cost of Pop Performance Class is $300 for the full year, but available at a discounted cost of $250 a year for each class for Private Students studying at the Studios of Etcetera Productions
